If your Home Assistant doesn't support Add-ons, there are two standalone install options:
Standalone Linux CLI
The standalone CLI is perfect if you have SSH access to the Home Assistant device. It's a one-line SSH command that does the full install and is compatible with any Debian-based Linux OS.
Standalone Docker Image
The standalone docker image can be run directly in Docker or with Docker Compose. It's a quick, easy, and clean install.

Our Home Assistant Add-on creates a secure and private connection to Homeway.

Step 1 - Install The Homeway Add-on
Click the button below to install our Add-on. If asked to install the Add-on repository, select "add".
Open your Home Assistant instance and show the dashboard of an add-on.
Step 2 - Setup The Homeway Add-On
From the Homeway add-on page in your Home Assistant, click the "install" button. When the install is complete, click the "start" button to get the Add-on running.
Step 3 - Link The Add-On
From the Homeway add-on page in your Home Assistant, click the "open web ui" text and click the "link this addon" button to complete the setup.

We recommend you install the standalone CLI on the same device running Home Assistant, but it can be installed on any Debian-based Linux device on your LAN.
To install the Homeway standalone CLI, SSH into your device and run the following command:
bash <(curl -s https://homeway.io/install.sh)
