To enable remote access, copy the remote access URL below and paste it into the Home Assistant app.
Don't share or use the remote access URL anywhere else. The URL will only work with the official Home Assistant app.

To Add the Remote URL to Home Assistant:
  1. Open the Home Assistant app.
  2. Open the App Menu by tapping the menu button at the top left of the screen.
  3. Select "Settings" in the App Menu.
  4. Select "Companion app" in the settings list.
  5. Select your server at the top of the settings page.
  6. Select "External URL".
  7. Paste the remote URL copied from this page into the "External URL" text box.
  8. Tap "Save" at the top right.
  1. Open the Home Assistant app.
  2. Open the App Menu by tapping the menu button at the top left of the screen.
  3. Select "Settings" in the App Menu.
  4. Select "Companion app" in the settings list.
  5. Select your server in "Servers & devices".
  6. Select "Home network WiFi SSID" and follow the guide to select your home WiFi.
  7. Go back to server settings page.
  8. Copy the URL from "Home Assistant URL" to "Internal connection URL".
  9. Paste the remote URL copied from this page to replace the "Home Assistant URL" value.
Done! πŸŽ‰ Your Home Assistant app will now work anywhere. You can revoke the remote URL access anytime from the Shared Connections page.
